After spending a relatively peaceful night with little interruptions, a cute 3 year old meandered into our room around 5:30ish, turned on the light and declared it to be too dark. Jason moved fast, turned off the light and put Alex in bed with us where he promptly nodded off to sleep. I of course knew this meant time to head to the bathroom and recognize the fact that I was not going back to sleep.
When the clock struck 6 am I realized that it was 24 hours until baby day. Thank God! Spent some time with Jason last night going over his "duties" after Michael was delivered. Hoping that Alex will be excited about his little brother.
Alex will have a lot of change in his life, new brother, new room at school. I am hoping enough of his good friends are moving with him to make the transition a little easier. He is such a sweet boy and I don't want his world to be too topsy-turvy.
The next time I will be writing this, I will be the mother of two boys. I can't wait!
